In addition, it is involved in the investments in steering and linkage auto components; provision of business development services. The company was formerly known as Rane (Madras) Limited and changed its name to Rane Holdings Limited in July 2004. Rane Holdings Limited was founded in 1929 and is based in Chennai, India.
